Walk for the Woods - Weekend!

Great hikes just minutes from downtown Annapolis!  Saturday April 20th AND Sunday April 21st!

Join Scenic Rivers Land Trust at Bacon Ridge Natural Area to enjoy Anne Arundel County’s newest park.  This nine-hundred+ acre Crownsville park, not yet fully open to the public, is graced with upland streams, lily-filled ponds, nesting birds and spring wild flowers.  Hikes range from one to four miles on marked trails.  Bird and nature guides, as well as tours of the historic cemetery, are available throughout the weekend as well.

Directions : Take Generals Highway to Crownsville Road. Turn right on Marbury Road (within 1/4 mile of Generals Hwy). Follow signs to parking and trail head.
