'Gone Too Soon'

An 'unhappy hour' for grieving 20-somethings

Men and women in their 20s experience a time of transition that includes many endings and beginnings. When they lose a loved one, it can be difficult to find other young adults experiencing similar losses. They often will reach out through social media. Still, there is a disconnect when conversing online

To help 20-somethings make that connection, Chesapeake Life Center will host “Gone Too Soon” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Starbucks at 503 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Co-facilitated by CLC counseling fellow Joy McCrady, this “unhappy hour” will be a time to sip coffee and connect with others in their 20s who are grieving, whether the loss is recent or long passed.

The gathering is free. Registration is appreciated, but drop-ins are welcome. To register, call 1-888-501-7077.
