This Pastry Café Is Expanding In The County
Paris Baguette is setting up a new base in the county, with plans for an opening in the summertime.
ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD — Popular boutique café Paris Baguette is expanding in the county, with plans to open a new location in Severna Park.
The pastry eatery will be opening a brick-and-mortar location at the Park Plaza. Current plans include an anticipated opening in the summer.
Paris Baguette, which has been expanding across Maryland, is known for its mix of cakes, breads, and sandwiches. The cafe chain's latest opening in the county was in Annapolis, at 2557 Riva Road.

Pratik Patel, the Paris Baguette franchise owner behind the announcement, signed a lease for the 2,889-square-foot space with Continental Realty Corporation.
Patel is also the owner of the Towson Paris Baguette site, as well as several Big Chicken and Marble Slab Creamery franchises.

"Our Towson-area store is outperforming expectations and we targeted Severna Park because this specialty category is underserved in the community," Patel said in a release.
"Park Plaza features several national tenants including Planet Fitness, and has a strong nightlife which complements our operations."
The Park Plaza center includes a mix of restaurants, offices and fitness retailers.
