Patterson Physical Therapy Welcomes New Employee

recently announced physical therapist Nancy Sawyer joined the practice.

Sawyer completed her physical therapy education through the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education through , according to the announcement. She also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.

“Nancy is a great addition to our staff, she is very knowledgeable and determined that each patient progress towards their goals” said Patterson Physical Therapy owner Mike Patterson in the announcement. “In addition to providing effective physical therapy, her extensive work in fitness industry allows Nancy to help patients prepare for the transition to an effective lifetime fitness program safely.”

Sawyer is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Pilates Method Alliance and IDEA Health & Fitness Association. In addition to her PTA license, she is currently a Certified Peak Pilates Professional Instructor and an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, according to the news announcement.
