Tick, Tock: Salon's Grand Opening Days Away

SEVERNA PARK, MD — The grand opening of a new hair salon is just days away in Severna Park.

The Haven & Hue Hair Co. will host its grand opening festivities Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its location at 844 Ritchie Highway.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will include the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 5 p.m

A separate promotion celebrating the opening is being run earlier in the day, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., when customers will have the opportunity to sign up for a limited $40 blowout special.

McKenzie Redmond, the owner of Haven & Hue Hair Co., founded the company as a means to "elevate the salon experience."

"The salon was created as a place where women can slow down, feel supported, and walk out with hair that makes them feel confident and renewed," reads a company bio.

Redmond is an experienced hair color and extensions specialist.

The shop is open Monday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday, doors stay open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Salon hours for the first Saturday of every month run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All other Saturdays are by appointment only, according to the shop.
