SEVERNA PARK BAPTIST CHURCH 8TH ANNUAL CAR SHOW & CHICKEN BBQ

Severna Park Baptist Church will host their Eighth Annual Car Show and Chicken Bar-B-Que on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will also be activities for children such as face painting, balloon animals, and a moon-bounce and playground area for children to enjoy.

Hot Rods & Classic Cars from around the area will be on display. Muscle cars will be burning rubber in the burn-out strip. Car Trophies for 1st through 3rd and a “Pastor’s Choice” trophy will be awarded. To register your car, please contact Angie Murphy at 443-223-6221.

There is no cost to attend or register in the car show. Chicken bar-b-que, hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks will be available for a small fee. Drawings for door prizes to over a dozen different community vendors will be awarded.

This year the Car Show will also feature a tribute to the event founder Scott Murphy, who died in a motorcycle accident July 2014. Scott’s wife Angie, along with family and friends are now involved in coordinating the event in his honor.

The community event will be held on the property located at 506 Benfield Road in Severna Park, Maryland.
