Spark Running Offers New 5K Training Class

The local business will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday for a New Kind of 9 to 5.

Spark Running is offering another round of its nine-week program, A New Kind of 9 to 5, aimed to help you train for a 5K. The store will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m.

The program is geared to non-runners or runners who have been out of practice for a while and are looking to get back into shape. Spark Running owner Caitlin Burman said the start of a New Year is a great time to get back into physical activity.

“A lot of people have it as a New Years resolution and even though it is cold outside we are still going to get out there and run,” Burman said.
