Summer Concert Band Musicians Wanted

The Benfield Wind Machine Symphonic Band, will begin it's first annual summer session this year starting with rehearsals on Sunday July 9th from 7-9 pm in Severna Park, at Our Shepard Lutheran Church off Benfield Rd. Rehearsals will run every Sunday from 7 - 9 pm from July 9th - 27th ending with 1 - 2 performances.

Membership is open to all ages and there are no fees to participate. The only requirements are that you have your own instrument (accept percussion), a music stand, and are comfortable playing grade 3 + music. Some of the current selections to be performed are John Williams in Concert, the 2nd Holst Suite, Appalachian Overture, Shenandoah, Americans We, Highlights from The Sound of Music, just to name a few.
We are still needing players in all instrument sections. However, we currently do not have any percussionist, double reed players, or french horn players.
