Supermoon Shines in Severna Park
The biggest moon of 2013 shined in the sky Sunday night.
Did you get a chance to see the supermoon this weekend?
On Sunday night, the full moon was at its closest distance to the earth for 2013, making it the biggest moon of the year, according to National Geographic. The moon appeared to be "8 percent larger and 17 percent brighter than usual."
A few Patch readers sent in photos of the moon from around Severna Park. If you didn’t get a chance to see it, check out some of these photos because it was pretty special.
