1 Person Dead, Another Hospitalized After Three-Car MoCo Collision

SILVER SPRING, MD — One person is dead and another was hospitalized after a three-car collision in the Four Corners area late Thursday.

Montgomery County Police was flagged to the crash scene near the intersection of University Boulevard West and Colesville Road shortly before 10 p.m.

Authorities said one man was pronounced dead at the scene, as another man was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police did not detail what may have caused the collision.

David Pazos, assistant chief with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said both of the men had been inside a vehicle that has rolled over into a tree. See photo from the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the case, according to Pazos.

An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
