14-Year-Old Silver Spring Girl Missing Since Wednesday Night: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in locating 14-year-old Catherine Madrid Flores of Silver Spring, according to a release. Flores' family and police are concerned for her welfare.

Flores was last seen around 8:30 p.m., on Wednesday in the 100 block of Colony Road, according to police.

Police described Flores as standing 5-foot-3 and weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair with red highlights. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Anyone with information about Flores' whereabouts is asked to call MCDP's 24-hour non-emergency line at 301-279-8000 or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400. Callers do not need to identify themselves.
