Major Plant Festival Returns To MoCo This Weekend
Plants Alive! will be hosting its third annual festival this weekend. Here's what you need to know.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Plants Alive! is hosting its third annual festival this weekend in Silver Spring, and it's promising to be an even bigger event.
The festival will feature a wide variety of plants, whether you're interested in shopping for exotics or browsing for an entry-level house plant.
But it also won't be just plants.

Building on its past events, this year's festival is promising an extended list of craft vendors, musical acts, food trucks, a flash tattoo special, and even a book signing with interior designer Hilton Carter.

The event, which will be held at 15710 Layhill Road, kicks off Saturday and runs through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Entrance is free.
Similar to the past two years, parking will be available on Plants Alive! grounds, as well as the entrance leading to the Northwest Golf Course and nearby side streets.
Parking attendants will be in the area to direct traffic each day.
