SILVER SPRING, MD — After purchasing a winning scratch-off ticket in the Maryland Lottery Silver Spring resident is now a millionaire, according to a release.

The Silver Spring winner claimed the top prize between Aug. 22-28 in the lottery's Million Dollar Mega Multiplier. The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven #32389, which is located at 7980 Georgia Ave., in Silver Spring. Six top prizes remain to be won in the game.

Eight other lottery players won prizes of $100,000 over the last week. They were from Bel Air, Clear Spring, District Heights (two), Landover, Middle River, and Upper Marlboro.
