2 Displaced After House Fire Causes $300K In Damages: MCFRS
Two people were displaced Saturday after a fire broke out on a rear deck in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Two adults were displaced from their townhouse over the weekend after a fire broke out on the rear deck in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was reported just before 1:15 a.m. Saturday at the 14900 block of Habersham Circle.
MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said both adults managed to leave the home without suffering any injuries after they were awoken by the smoke alarms.

Early estimates put the fire damages at about $300,000, according to Piringer.
Officials have not yet released details on what may have caused the fire to break out.
