2 Men Wanted For Armed Robbery At Silver Spring Sunoco: Photos
Police released photos of two men they say forced their way into the secure area of a Silver Spring Sunoco station in June.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police detectives are asking the public's help in identifying two men in connection with an armed robbery that took place last month at a Silver Spring gas station, according to a police release.
Around 1:13 p.m., on June 22, officers responded to the Sunoco gas station in the 8300 block of Colesville Road for the report of an armed robbery, according to police.
A preliminary investigation revealed that two men had requested help from an employee after using the lottery machine inside the main store, according to police.

Once the employee opened the door to the secured cashier area, the two men forced their way inside and one of them pointed a handgun at the employee. Police say they then tied the employee's hands and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before leaving the area on foot.
Police described the suspect with the handgun as a Black man in his 40s with a stocky build. He was wearing a red baseball hat, white T-shirt, and blue jeans that were ripped at the knees.

The second suspect was described by police as a Black man in his 40s, with a medium build. He was wearing a black Nike sweatband around a gray and white baseball cap, white T-shirt, and black shorts.
Police released surveillance photos on Thursday showing the two men wanted for the armed robbery. Anyone who can identify them or who has information about this incident is asked to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or 240-773-TIPS or contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Police are offering reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Callers may remain anonymous.
