2 Men Wanted In Downtown Silver Spring Stabbing: Police
Police need the public's help finding two men they say are connected to a stabbing in downtown Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police have released a surveillance photo of two men wanted in connection to a stabbing in downtown Silver Spring.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on May 8, outside of a commercial establishment in the 900 block of Bonifant Street. Detectives believe the victim, a 34-year-old male, was involved in a confrontation with one of the two suspects.
At one point, the victim and the two male suspects went their separate ways. However, a few minutes later, the victim was approached by pair. According to police, at least one of them was armed with a weapon.

Authorities say the victim was assaulted and stabbed by one or both suspects. The pair then fled the scene.
Wounded, the man was taken to the hospital by his friends.

Shortly after 5 a.m., officers responded to Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring after getting a call from personnel about a stabbing victim who had just been dropped off.
Police have released a surveillance photo of the two suspects in hopes that the public can help identify them. Investigators describe the first suspect as an African American male wearing a black jacket over a gray shirt. The second suspect is described as an African American male wearing a red shirt.
Anyone who has information about the suspects or this stabbing is urged to call police at 240-773-6870. Anonymous tipsters can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
