2 Women Wanted For MD Murder Arrested In Ohio: Police
The two women wanted for the murder of 67-year-old Hilde Henderson, of Silver Spring, were arrested in Ohio.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A Clarksburg woman and her girlfriend were arrested in Ohio after charges were issued against the pair for the murder of 67-year-old Hilde Henderson in Silver Spring.
Police had previously issued a call for the public's help in locating the two women, identified as 29-year-old Clarksburg resident Vanessa Tjongarero-Henderson and 36-year-old Samantha Raebel, of Phoenix, Arizona.
Authorities said a nationwide search for the two women extended throughout Ohio, Tennessee and Arizona. Tjongarero-Henderson and Raebel were arrested in Genoa, Ohio, on Wednesday after a resident recognized them from media reports.

Vanessa Tjongarero-Henderson is the daughter of Hilde Henderson, who was found dead inside her apartment at the Charter House, a community for individuals who are 55 and older. The discovery was made during a May 26 welfare check by Montgomery County Police.

An autopsy by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma.
Investigators believe Henderson was killed on May 22, four days before she was found by police. An arrest warrant that listed the two women as being charged with first-degree murder was filed May 27.
Tjongarero-Henderson and Raebel are both awaiting extradition to Maryland.
