PEPCO Restores Power To Majority Of DC, MD Customers: Outage

MARYLAND — Most of the PEPCO customers in Washington, D.C., as well as Montgomery and Prince George's counties affected by a power outage on Tuesday morning have had their power restored.

Around 8:52 a.m. on Tuesday, 1,338 customers were without power, according to PEPCO. By 12:03 p.m., less than 100 customers at the three localities combined had not had their power restored. The power company expected that power to customers will be restored by 5 p.m

Initially, PEPCO issued an alert that more than 2,000 customers were without power, but an update at 8:52 a.m. said that 1,338 were without power.
