$50K Win To Help Fulfill Silver Spring Man's Dream Of Home Ownership
Silver Spring man buys winning $50,000 Cash instant ticket at Route 1 Liquors in Beltsville, Maryland.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 39-year-old Silver Spring man told Maryland Lottery officials earlier this week that he planned to use the $50,000 he won on a scratch off ticket to make his dream of owning a home that much closer.
Last week, the Montgomery County resident stopped at the Route 1 Liquors in Beltsville and decided to buy two of $20 tickets in the$50,000 Cash instant game. The first ticket was a dud, but the second one turned out to be a winner.
“I was so happy when I saw the prize beneath the ‘stack of coins’ symbol,” the retail employee told lottery officials in Baltimore.
