75-Year-Old Silver Spring Man Identified As Victim In Fatal Collision
Montgomery County Police identified the victim in the fatal collision that occurred Thursday afternoon in White Oak.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A 75-year-old Silver Spring man was identified last the victim a fatal collision that occurred Thursday afternoon in White Oak, according to a Montgomery County Police release.
Collision Reconstruction Unit investigators determined that a white 2002 Ford Explorer traveling northbound on Columbia Pike struck Teklu Bushen Siba of Silver Spring as he was crossing the northbound lanes in a westbound direction.
Siba was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The driver of the Explorer remained at the location of the collision.
