SILVER SPRING, MD — Mark Reginald Melton was arrested and charged in connection with a July restaurant stabbing that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Montgomery County Police said Tuesday that Melton, 34, was arrested in Washington, D.C., by the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Task Force.
Melton was arrested for the July 10 stabbing that took place inside the men's restroom at The Angry Jerk in the 8200 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.

Police said Melton had entered the restroom shortly after 10:30 p.m. and proceeded to stab the man multiple times before leaving the area.
Investigators have not said whether the individuals had any history.
Court records show Melton is charged with two misdemeanors and three felonies, such as attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and robbery.
He remains held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit in Rockville.
