Silver Spring man charged with rape, assault in Takoma Park, police say (wusa9.com) โ A man from Silver Spring has been charged with multiple serious offenses after police say an 18-year-old reported an assault that occurred at a Takoma Park residence. Officers first responded to White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, then later arrested the suspect at the Takoma Park Police Department. The case is now being handled through Montgomery County's central processing system.
