SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Kymani Elijah Bailey of Baltimore early Saturday morning in Silver Spring.

Officers responded around 2:40 a.m. for the report of a shooting at Parking Garage 3 in the 900 block of Silver Spring Avenue.

Bailey was found on the first level of the garage, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.

Investigators determined that Bailey was walking in the garage after leaving a restaurant when he was approached by an unknown suspect, who began shooting, according to police.

No details was available about the identity of the suspect.
