Bank Of America Armed Robber Caught On Surveillance: Police
Police need the public's help finding an armed robber who stole money from a Bank of America customer in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A robber who stole money from a woman at a Bank of America in Silver Spring was captured in surveillance photos, which Montgomery County Police have released in hopes that the public can help identify the thief.
At about 9:28 a.m. on Nov. 24, police were called to 8511 Georgia Ave. to investigate an armed robbery of a customer. The female victim told officers that she was standing at the bank's ATM when she was approached from behind by the suspect.
According to the victim, the robber said he was armed and ordered her to withdraw money from the ATM. She compiled, and the man fled the scene with her cash, according to authorities.

Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect or this armed robbery to call 240-773-6870. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment.
