Brothers Accused Of Burglarizing Properties In Montgomery County
Alex Dumitru and Natalian Dumitru of Catonsville were charged after authorities connected them to two burglaries that occurred this spring.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Two brothers are facing charges after police said they burglarized two properties in Montgomery County.
Alex Dumitru, 23, and Natalian Dumitru, 18, were arrested and charged with counts related to first-degree burglary, Montgomery County police said in a news release.
According to police, authorities were investigating multiple burglaries reported in March and April, including one at a home attached to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the 15000 block of Good Hope Road and the US Zen Institute in the 19200 block of Liberty Mill Road.

With the assistance of Baltimore County police, authorities executed a search warrant at the brothers' home in Catonsville where they discovered items connecting them to the two burglaries.
Detectives are still investigating three other burglaries that occurred at the following locations:

- A residence located in the 2300 block of Spencerville Road
- The Noor Center in the 20500 block of Boland Farm Road
- A residence attached to the Wat Thai Washington, D.C. in the 13400 block of Layhill Road
Alex Dumitru and Natalian Dumitru were taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where they were charged and released on $10,000 unsecured bonds.
