Chesapeake Hospitality Opens Fourth Ledo Pizza Location

Chesapeake Hospitality, a dynamic third-party hotel and restaurant management company, announced today that it has opened a Ledo Pizza location at Leisure World at 3850 International Drive, Silver Spring, Maryland. Kim Sims, president of Chesapeake Hospitality, made the announcement.

Chesapeake is celebrating their 60th anniversary of doing business in Maryland in 2017 and this is the fourth Ledo Pizza franchise location. Chesapeake is optimistic about growing the Ledo Pizza brand as well as new opportunities to continue to grow its diverse hospitality portfolio across the country, all while remaining focused on the company’s core values of honesty, integrity and humility.

Ledo Pizza, a family-owned company has been making pizza since 1955 with the restaurant’s first opening in Adelphi, Maryland. The original concept was simple, provide high quality food at a great value in a comfortable, family atmosphere. The pizza is rolled to order with fresh handmade dough topped with the high-quality cheese and the same style tomatoes. Word of mouth quickly made Ledo a favorite spot for local residents, the University of Maryland community, and the Washington Senators. As the legacy lives on today, the families that created Ledo Pizza are now passing the tradition on to other families in new areas.
