SILVER SPRING, MD — During the month of June, Montgomery County Public Libraries is offering free animation workshops to children ages 10 to 14.
The one-hour, hands-on programs are designed to teach kids how to apply their drawing skills and imagination to create several animated sequences. Workshops will be hosted at a number of library branches across Montgomery County.
"We are delighted to host these workshops at our public libraries," said Montgomery County Public Libraries Acting Director Anita Vassallo. "Art brings people together and to see young residents have fun by learning new creative skills is inspiring. The library is the perfect space for these types of programs for our community's youth."
