Comfort Cases Announces Caroline Rhea to Host Gala

Comfort Cases welcomes comedian and actress Caroline Rhea as the headliner for their 3rd annual gala on April 22nd in Silver Spring.

From High10 Media: Comfort Cases announced that comedian and actress Caroline Rhea is the headliner for their 3rd annual gala, April 22nd at the Silver Spring, Maryland Civic Center.

Ms. Rhea is an actress par excellence having starred in Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, as the voice of Linda Flynn-Fletcher on the hit Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb, and as the host of The Caroline Rhea Show. Rhea is also in the upcoming film, A Very Sordid Wedding, the long-awaited sequel to Del Shores’ cult-classic Sordid Lives, premiering this spring. She will serve as the night’s Master of Ceremonies.

Comfort Cases is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides backpacks with essential items like toiletries, pajamas, activities and other items to children in foster care. Robert Scheer grew up in the foster care system and was also a homeless teen. He founded Comfort Cases in 2013 after adopting his daughter from the foster care system and seeing that she, too, was given only a trash bag to carry her belongings. To date, the organization has packed and donated over 24,200 cases to children in foster care.
