Come out April 25 to celebrate technology and art at Blake High School in Silver Spring. It's an all ages tech expo and comic con!

2015 CREATOR CON FESTIVAL CONNECTS STUDENTS WITH INDUSTRY HEAVYWEIGHTS

The Creator Con Festival of Arts, Gaming, and Technology will take place on April 25, 2015, from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM at James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Maryland. This innovative spring festival combines a comic book convention with a technology exhibition and aims to connect both industries with communities in the DC, MD, and VA area. Blake High School hosted a similar event in December 2013 called Blakescape. This year, Blake has created a completely new experience for all ages with support from Third Eye Comics, Video Gamers United, Call That Art, Kick Starter, Unit-E Technologies, and Art Way Alliance.

The Creator Con Festival will promote creation and innovation in the DMV through interactive art galleries, comic book workshops, and guest speakers. Panels on music production, comic book creation, game development, and even cooking are offered as well. Participants can also enjoy video game and art competitions, technology and product demos, interactive contests, local food trucks, and performing artists.

The 2015 Creator Con Festival’s mission is to spread positive and innovative ideas in the DMV, and will be held at 300 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $8.00 for adults. For more information, visit www.CreatorConFestival.com, or follow us on Facebook or Twitter @creatorconfest. Or call 301-879-1300 for more details.
