Detective Watches Man Take Items From Car In Silver Spring: Police
A man was charged with theft after a Montgomery County Police detective reported seeing him take items from an unlocked vehicle.
SILVER SPRING, MD — A Montgomery County Police arrested 33-year-old Eric Delonty Feggins of no fixed address after a detective observed him exiting a car that was not his and then run away, according to a police release.
While conducting a followup investigation on Sept. 30, the detective observed the victim park their car in the 8100 block of George Ave. in Silver Spring. A few minutes later, the detective watched as Feggins entered the unlocked car, went through the victim's belongings, and then leave, according to police.
After determining Feggins was not supposed to be in the car, patrol officers tracked Feggins down and took him to the 3rd District Station. Once there, he admitted to his actions, according to police.

Feggins was taken to the Central Processing Unit, where was charged with rogue and vagabond, theft under $1,500 and other related offenses for theft from auto, according to police. He was then released on a $2,000 unsecured personal bond.
