Dollar Century Plus Burglary Video of Suspect Released By Police

Investigators released surveillance video that shows a man breaking into display cases at the Dollar Century Plus in Silver Spring.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Investigators on Tuesday released store surveillance video that shows a man breaking into display cases at the Dollar Century Plus in the 8700 block of Flower Avenue in Silver Spring.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department said the burglary occurred about 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 20. Authorities hope releasing video of the suspect to the public can identify him.

The suspect forced his way into the store, smashed two glass display cases, stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise and left, police said.

Detectives reviewed the surveillance cameras of the store and obtained video of the suspect.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Callers may remain anonymous.
