Armed Robbery Of Silver Spring Dunkin Donuts Captured On Surveillance Video: Police
Montgomery County Police released surveillance footage Friday of the May 18 armed robbery of a Silver Spring Dunkin Donuts restaurant.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man wanted for the May 18 armed robbery of a Silver Spring Dunkin Donuts. On Friday, police released a surveillance video of the incident.
Investigators determined that the suspect walked up to the counter of the Dunkin Donuts at 12200 Viers Mill Road, showed that he had a box cutter, and demanded money.
The surveillance video shows a restaurant employee backing away from the counter. The suspect then leaps over the counter and threatens the employee with a large knife in his waistband. He then removes the cash boxes from the registers and flees the scene.

Police described the suspect as a White or Hispanic man, about 40 to 45-years-old, with a thin build. He stood about 5-feet tall and had a white T-shirt wrapped around his face. Police say he was wearing a white baseball cap, black jacket, light-colored pants and tan work boots.
