SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police detectives are asking the public's help in locating 23-year-old Breasia Carey, who has not been heard from since Saturday, according to a news release.

Carey is believed to have been in the 8000 block of 13th Street, which is on the Maryland border with Washington, D.C., according to police. Family members are concerned for her mental and physical welfare.

Police described Carey as standing 5-foot-1 and weighing 140 pounds. There was now information available about what she was wearing when she went missing.

Anyone with information Carey's location is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Silver Spring Investigative Section 240-773-6884. Callers may remain anonymous.
