Hundreds Attend “Night in New Orleans” Gala at Riderwood

Annual event benefits the Benevolent Care Fund

Silver Spring, MD -- Hundreds of residents, staff and guests at Riderwood, an Erickson Living retirement community in Silver Spring, MD, gathered together for the “Night in New Orleans” Gala. The annual event to benefit the Benevolent Care Fund had a New Orleans theme this year.

“What an amazing evening,” said Executive Director Gary Hibbs. “This event could not have happened without the wonderful staff from various departments who volunteered the weeks leading up to the event and on Saturday night. This took a massive effort and a group of people with skills and talent to put together. I thank everyone for sharing their gifts with everyone here at Riderwood.”

The “Night in New Orleans” Gala included a delicious menu of bayou favorites, Mardi Gras style entertainment, and music from the Nitehawks band.
