During the traffic reconfiguration:
- Only right-turns will be permitted on both roads prior to the intersection;
- Crews will temporarily stop all traffic lanes for up to 15 minutes on both roads to move and relocate existing traffic signals; and
- Law enforcement will direct traffic around the work zone.
The new lane reconfiguration will create a median work zone at the interchange project. Crews will also relocate traffic signals, move the concrete traffic barrier, test and activate traffic signals, resurface the roadway and apply new pavement markings to correspond with new lane configurations.
