With new artisanal beers ever on the horizon, visiting this brewery for a tour and tasting promises to be an experience unlike any other!

DC Brau brews can be found throughout the entire DC metro area. If you’ve tried one before (or even if you haven’t) and want to see where it all started, pay the DC Brau brewery a visit. Best of all, if you really like the brand, you can purchase an entire growler of your own to be enjoyed at home.
Just a five-minute drive from The Point at Silver Spring (or a 20 minutes walk), this brewery is convenient to home and a local favorite. With tours and tastings every weekend, those interested are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance – perfect for any winter weekend!
You’ll love this brewery for its focus on the science of brewing beer and the role it plays in taste and quality. Created out of a “true love for the art, culture, history and science of beer,” this nearby brewery will certainly be one of your favorites!
Of course, you must be 21 years or older to participate in any of the tours and tastings, and we definitely don’t recommend touring them all in one day!
Not a fan of beer? No problem! You can enjoy The Point at Silver Spring’s various amenities all winter long. An elevated track around our inner courtyard means you can run outdoors without the distraction of snow or road salt, and a fitness club with the latest equipment is perfect for those gym lovers! Residents can also enjoy the lounge and billiards room with wifi throughout the entire building.
