Man Arrested After Ransacking Vehicles Across Montgomery Co: Cops
The man believed to be behind a string of vehicle break-ins in Montgomery County has been arrested, according to police.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Authorities have arrested a Silver Spring man they say ransacked multiple vehicles over the past three months.
Justin Andrew Wilson, 25, was charged with a number of theft- and fraud-related offenses, including theft ranging from $1,500 to under $25,000 and the unauthorized use or disclosure of a credit card, court records reveal.
Montgomery County police accuse Wilson of stealing items from vehicles on July 28, Aug. 21, and Sept. 19. He was arrested and charged after each incident.

Here's what police say happened on those three days:
- July 28 — The victim told authorities that a suspect had stolen credit cards and other items from his vehicle, which was parked on East Jefferson Street in Rockville. Upon further investigation, police identified Wilson as the suspect and charged him with theft- and fraud-related offenses.
- Aug. 21 — Police responded to a home on Quail Woods Drive in Germantown for the report of a vehicle break-in. Detectives identified Wilson as the suspect and recovered the stolen property from his home. Wilson was arrested and charged in connection with the crime, and released after posting a $3,000 bond.
- Sept. 19 — Shortly after 4 a.m., police officers spotted a suspect breaking into an unlocked vehicle on Marianna Drive in Aspen Hill. The suspect fled the scene. However, responding officers said they recognized Wilson. A warrant was subsequently issued for Wilson's arrest.
Wilson is currently being held without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.
