Masked Men Rob Silver Spring Dunkin' Donuts, Threaten Worker: PD
Police need the public's help finding two men they say robbed a Silver Spring Dunkin' Donuts and threatened an employee with a screwdriver.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Two masked man accused of threatening a Dunkin' Donuts employee with a screwdriver and stealing cash from the register was caught on surveillance video, which Montgomery County police have released in hopes that the public can help identify them.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on March 19 in Silver Spring.
Police say the pair entered the Dunkin' Donuts 12200 Veirs Mill Rd. and approached an employee who was standing behind the counter.

One man vaulted the counter and ordered the employee to stay back, according to authorities, while the other threatened the worker with a screwdriver and removed the cash drawer from the register.
They fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Police did not disclose how much money was stolen.
Anyone with additional information should call police at 240-773-5100. Anonymous tipsters can also call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). The group is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.
