SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in located a missing 17-year-old from Silver Spring, according to a police release.

Diamond Catalan was last seen around 7:30 a.m., on Friday, in the 2000 block of Randolph Road in Silver Spring. Police and Catalan's family are concerned for her welfare.

Police described Catalan as standing approximately 4-foot-9 and weighing 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black tank top, black jeans, and black ankle boots. She was also carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information Catalan's location is asked to call the 24-hour, police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
