SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in locating a 16-year-old Silver Spring boy who has been missing since last Tuesday night, according to a police release.

Christopher Sanchez was last seen around 11 p.m., on June 14, in the 8400 block of 11th Avenue in Silver Spring.

Police described Sanchez as standing 5-foot-10 and weighing about 155 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black shirt, green pants and black shoes the last time he was seen.

Police and his family are concerned for Sanchez's welfare.

Anyone with information about Sanchez's whereabouts was asked to call the MCPD's 24-hour, non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
