SILVER SPRING, MD — In a Thursday afternoon update, Montgomery County officials say Mohammed Dumbuya has been located and is safe.


(Original post) SILVER SPRING, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help finding a missing Fairland area man.

Mohammed Dumbuya, 33, was last seen leaving his Harlequin Terrace home on foot at about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to authorities.

Investigators describe Dumbuya as a 5-foot-11, 170-pound African American male with short black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his right arm. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a white t-shirt.

Family and police are concerned for his wellbeing.
