Montgomery County Recreation To Hold 2 Jobs Fairs In August
Montgomery County Recreation is looking for part-time employees to work at the new Wheaton Community Recreation Center.
SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Recreation is hosting two job fairs next month for those looking for part-time employment. County officials say they want seasonal, part-time employees to work at the new Wheaton Community Recreation Center, which is opening in September.
The jobs fairs will be held in August at the Recreation Administrative Office, located at 4010 Randolph Rd. in Silver Spring.
The job fairs are scheduled at the following dates and times:

- Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Applicants should bring copies of their resume and be prepared to talk about their experience and availability.
Open positions include evening and weekend hours. Montgomery County Recreation wants people handling the front desk, customer service, and youth programming.

The pay starts at $13 an hour, and increases based on experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A minimum of three years work experience is preferred. Bilingual applicants are also encouraged to apply.
All applicants must pass a criminal background investigation.
