Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Montgomery County: Police

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A man died early Saturday morning after the motorcycle he was driving crashed on a Montgomery County road, police said.
Authorities said the crash happened shortly after 1 a.m. at the intersection of FDA Boulevard and Cherry Hill Road for a single-vehicle crash.
According to investigators, the victim was driving a blue Yamaha motorcycle when it collided with a curb and a traffic light support pole. The crash caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle, police said.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died, police said. Authorities did not release the victim's name pending notification of family.
The crash remains under investigation.
