Motorcyclist Killed In Silver Spring Crash: Police

SILVER SPRING, MD — A man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a Tesla in Silver Spring, authorities said.

According to Montgomery County police, the crash involving a white Tesla and a Kawasaki motorcycle occurred shortly after midnight Saturday at the intersection of University Boulevard West and Kerwin Road.

The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities did not release his name pending notification of family.

The driver of the Tesla remained at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
