Murder in the Garden
Evil Deeds in Horticulture is Explored at the October 20th meeting of the SILVER SPRING GARDEN CLUB

You are invited to the SILVER SPRING GARDEN CLUB meeting for a talk on:
MURDER IN THE GARDEN
Join us for a spooky evening of criminal acts of horticulture with Carole Ottesen. Carole will talk to us about murder-by-plant and murderous gardeners and how they kill with plants.
Carole Ottesen began writing a garden column in the local newspaper to support her gardening habit. Before she knew it, her writing appeared in major magazines and, ultimately, in her own garden books.
Thirty years of gardening and garden writing taught her to respect plants and the powerful compounds they contain. Her experience also laid the foundation for her garden mysteries, Dying for the Christmas Rose, and, soon to be published, Dying for Lupines, a mystery set in Cape Breton.
WHEN: Monday, October 20, 8:00pm
(Doors open at 7:30pm)
WHERE: Montgomery College
Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus
Health Sciences Center Building
Room 122 (not NEW room!)
The October meeting refreshments will be provided by club members Sue Smith and Jennifer Whalen.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
