SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Police need the public's help identifying a man accused of stealing packages from multiple Aspen Hill-area residents.

The suspected package thief was caught stealing in surveillance videos on two occasions: one on Feb. 21 and the other on Feb. 24.

During the first incident, which occurred in the 13000 block of Crispin Way, the suspect stole property from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence, police said.

The surveillance video, authorities point out, shows the unidentified man checking the doors to vehicles parked in a separate driveway on Crispin Avenue. Those doors were locked.

The second incident on Feb. 24 occurred into the 4900 block of Adrian St. Authorities say the man stole a package from a resident's front porch.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect is asked to call police at 240-773-5476. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
