"Bank security personnel were monitoring interior surveillance cameras from a remote location and were able to see that someone was in the bank," police said in a statement. "Security personnel provided the suspect's description and updates about the suspect's whereabouts in the bank to the Emergency Communications Center (911). The dispatcher was then able to communicate the information to responding officers."

Authorities said the K9, who was first to arrive at the bank, observed a broken glass window and spotted Muhammed moving in the building. Officers and the K9 entered through the broken window and arrested Muhammed without incident.
