New 26-Floor Residential Building OK'd For Downtown Bethesda: Report
The new building is expected to include 250 residential units, split between rental apartments and others up for sale.
BETHESDA, MD — A new residential building is in the works in downtown Bethesda after county officials recently approved plans to tear down two office buildings, according to a report.
Bethesda Today reported that the Montgomery County Planning Board gave the teardown and construction plans a unanimous go-ahead on Thursday.
The new 250-unit residential development is planned for 4719 Hampden Lane and 4720 Montgomery Lane.
