ArtStream’s 5th Annual Gala is dedicated to CHARACTERS. Whether you are a hero or diva, villain or clown, dancer or artist, there is a place for all characters to shine at ArtStream!

Keynote Speaker - Ron Suskind

Ron Suskind is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, but he is also the father of two young men. At age three his younger son, Owen, was diagnosed with regressive Autism.

Over the years, their family was able to reconnect and grow together through Owen’s affinity for classic Disney movies.

Two decades (and hundreds of Disney movies) later, Ron tells the story in his new book Life, Animated: A Story of Sidekicks, Heroes, and Autism.

a screen of color. A fantasy? A nightmare?

Actually, it’s the real-life story of Owen Suskind,
who is the son of the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist
Ron Suskind and his irrepressible wife, Cornelia.
