Silver Spring Man Charged In 2022 Armed Robbery Of DC Bank: Police
Metropolitan Police Department detectives identified a Silver Spring man as the suspect in the robbery of a Northwest D.C bank last October.
WASHINGTON, DC — On Tuesday, 19-year-old Johnny Adanuty of Silver Spring was extradited from Prince George's County, Maryland to Washington, D.C. to face an armed bank robbery charge, according to a police release.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department identified Adanuty as the suspect wanted in the Oct. 26, 2022 armed robbery of a bank in the 1900 block of 7th Street in Northwest D.C.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, officers in Prince George's County arrested Adanuty. Following his extradition on Tuesday, MPD charged him with one count of armed bank robbery.
